The Journey to a better sleep
Sleep seems so natural, yet many people are struggling in enjoying a well-deserved sleep. With numerous things to think about, work to be done and responsibilities to be focused upon, people are growingly sleep-deprieved. This is not a good trend, as we all now that a lack in sleep quality and quantity means more problems – personally and professionally.
Sleepicious, as the name implies, is all about the journey to a better sleep. Indeed, it’s about time to make sleep a priority, and this blog snuggles in as the learning resource to do so.
About the Founder
Hello, my name is Ivan Widjaya. I’m not a sleep expert. However, I’m fascinated by the world of sleep. Why? Because… (fanfare, please!)… I’m sleep deprived.
Yes, you read that right – I’m not a good sleeper, so to speak. Not that I’m having a sleep disorder, though – I sleep rather easily. It’s because of my work-life balance.
I’m not a workaholic, but a combination of my sleep pattern (I’m a night owl) and my plenty of work (I run an online business, taking care of my own dozens of websites) makes me sleep less hours than I should be. Even I’ll just happily trade my sleep hours with me time (I love playing mobile games!)
“How bad is it?” you might ask. Well, on average, I sleep about 4-5 hours a night. On a busy, busy day, I sleep only 3 hours a night. Not that bad, but it’s bad enough to give me cold, migraine and fever – sometimes.
I know this has to change due to the negative implications of my sleep habit. I’m on my way, but I’ve got plenty to learn – and do.
